David Meyer

David Meyer has worked in the IT field since 1998, beginning with a role as a Network Management Technician and Satellite Systems/Network Administrator for the US Army. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Fire Team. In 2017, they took on a role as Cyber Security Engineer at IPSecure, Inc. and also began working as an IT Auditor for the City of San Antonio.

David Meyer obtained their Associate's Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College between 2001 and 2006. David then went on to earn their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Franklin University between 2006 and 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Project+ from CompTIA in 2016, EMCISA from EMC in 2012, ITILv3 Foundations from EXIN in 2012, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in 2017, CCNP Routing & Switching from Cisco in 2016, CCNA Routing & Switching from Cisco in 2011, CCNA Security from Cisco in 2012, CCNA Voice from Cisco in 2012, A+ from CompTIA in 2007, Network+ from CompTIA in 2006, Security+ from CompTIA in 2010, and CISSP from (ISC)2 in 2014.
