Chris Read

Chris Read has worked in the technology industry since 1983. Chris began their career at IBM as a Summer Engineer in 1983 and 1984. In 1989, they moved to Texas Instruments as an Advanced Imaging Research Engineer. In 1995, they joined Sony Electronics as a Sr. Staff Engineer, where they worked on videoconferencing systems, including the award-winning VMU-1000 & VMU-1100. Chris also served as a technical lead for advance development efforts on streaming media server and terminal systems, and received an MVP Award from team members. In 2009, they joined Digital Force Technologies as a Sr. Software Engineer.

Chris Read obtained a PhD in Digital Signal Processing from Brigham Young University between 1986 and 1989.
