John Collery has extensive experience in product development, venture design consulting, and business design. John currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Digital Green. Prior to that, they worked as a Venture Design Consultant for consulting firms and non-profit social innovators. John also held positions as the Head of New Products at Change.org and as the Director of Product at Zillow, where they led the Buyer New Innovation team. Before that, John was the CEO of Kuja Kuja, a company focused on incorporating customer feedback into development projects. John also worked as a Business Design Lead and Program Director at IDEO.org, designing products and services for organizations serving impoverished communities. John was a Global Fellow at Acumen Fund and an Investment Consultant at Creation Investments Social Ventures Fund I. John began their career as an MBA candidate at Kellogg School of Management and worked as a Summer Principal at Frontier Growth Advisors, focusing on adaptive learning technology for the agricultural industry.
John Collery earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Geography from University College Dublin, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Development Politics at The University of Manchester, completing their studies in 2008. Later, John attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Social Innovation, Managerial Analytics, and Strategy.
