Finley Chen

Finley Chen is a Full Stack Web Developer at Digital Impulse. Previously, they were a Full Stack WordPress Developer at Motrolix LLC from March 2021 to July 2021. There, they worked on custom WordPress theme and plugin development and design for auto industry news websites, as well as SEO best practices and performance. From January 2020 to June 2021, Finley was a Web Developer at Paso Robles Iron Works, developing a custom curtain rod configurator in WooCommerce/WordPress for a popular iron curtain rod eCommerce store. Finley also developed and designed a custom theme, as well as implementing eCommerce SEO best practices to increase conversions and traffic. From June 2019 to December 2019, Finley worked as a Frontend Web Developer at AllPeople, co-developing a Shopify website with 7,000+ health and wellness products. Finley also developed a referral link tracking system in AJAX, Liquid, jQuery, and vanilla JavaScript, before migrating the Shopify site to WooCommerce/WordPress version and writing custom PHP functions. Finley got their start as a Student Front End Developer at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from January 2019 to August 2019.

Chen began their educational career by studying political science and government at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. They then continued their studies in this field by attending graduate school.
