Jay Lee has extensive experience in the gaming industry, with a career spanning over four decades. Jay currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Digital Insight Games (DIG) since 2022. Prior to this, Jay held the position of Director Of Development at Enduring Games from 2019 to 2022, where they managed and provided technical leadership on co-development projects for various gaming platforms.
Before joining Enduring Games, Jay worked as the CTO at VC Mobile Entertainment, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. Jay played a crucial role in establishing this AAA mobile game startup and successfully developed and published the strategy RPG, Creature Quest, which enjoyed global success across major app stores.
From 2010 to 2013, Jay worked at Electronic Arts as a Technical Director III. During their tenure, they led a team in the reboot of Command and Conquer, implementing modern client-server technology. Prior to this, they held the role of VP Technology at Trion World Network from 2006 to 2009, where they were a founding member and contributed significantly to building a scalable server-based gaming platform.
Jay's career in the gaming industry began at NCsoft in 2001, where they served as the Lead Programmer. Jay played a vital role in establishing the Austin branch and worked on MMO titles with data-driven architectures. Before NCsoft, they worked as a Senior Programmer at Origin Systems, leading the gameplay team for Ultima Online 2 and contributing to various in-game systems.
Jay started their career in 1985 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems, where they gained valuable experience in the field of systems engineering.
Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including C++, C#, Python, and MS SQL Server. Jay is known for their technical leadership, management skills, and contributions to the gaming industry, including multiple patents related to gaming platforms.
Jay Lee earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Redlands. Jay attended the university from 1981 to 1985.
