Kenneth Everett

Everett is the founder and director of Digital Matter, a technology business that designs embedded systems and focuses on GPS asset tracking and IoT sensor devices. Everett has led Digital Matter South Africa since 2000 and started Digital Matter Australia after moving to Perth in 2009, with the South Africa embedded business spun off as Digital Matter Embedded and Everett remaining a major shareholder involved in projects, product development and strategy. Prior to Digital Matter, Everett co-founded Vircom and served as joint founder and CEO from 1994 to 1999, and was a co-founder and non-executive director of CFS Rica from 2001 to 2020, oversaw the RICA subscriber registration system. Everett earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics from the University of the Witwatersrand (1991) and completed matric at Kearsney College (1987).
