Todd DeSando

Associate Director of Learning Delivery, VILS at Digital Promise

Todd DeSando is an Associate Director of Learning Delivery with Verizon Innovative Learning Schools. Todd comes to Digital Promise with a wide range of experiences within both public and private education ranging from pre-K through 12th grades. His professional passions lie in impacting education through technology integration, innovation within the classroom, and personalized professional learning. In his various roles within education, Todd’s ultimate goal of positively impacting as many students as possible has always remained true.

Prior to joining Digital Promise, Todd taught secondary social studies in Northeastern Pennsylvania, was an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and most recently, was the Educational Technology Specialist for a private preparatory school outside of Orlando, Florida, where he oversaw the development and implementation of a 1:1 technology plan for grades K-5. Todd holds a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University and a bachelor’s degree in History/ Secondary Education from Misericordia University, where he was awarded the Dr. Louis Maganzin Award for Excellence in Secondary Education. He is also Google for Education Certified Innovator & Certified Trainer, and was also the first educator in Florida to hold both Certified Innovator and Trainer credentials.
