The company originated as a campus spin-off in June 2018, with roots tracing back to the 2012 Health Information System (HIS) project at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), which aimed to create a dependable digital platform for government hospitals. Once the system evolved into a market-ready product, Digital Pulz was established at “Concept Nursery,” SLIIT’s business incubator, operated by its sister firm, Sri Lanka Technology Incubator (Pvt) Ltd.
