Sam Stagg has extensive experience in engineering leadership and technical strategy across various companies. Currently, in the role of VP Engineering for B2C at Digital Science, Stagg works with a global team to enhance Overleaf, a popular collaborative LaTeX editor. Prior to this, Sam served as Head of Development at Aurum Solutions, leading a global team in innovative software development. From September 2019 to July 2023, Stagg held the position of CTO at Third Space Learning, overseeing technical strategy and team management. Earlier experience includes serving as CTO at Matr.org, where Stagg managed distributed engineering teams and technical strategy and also led freelance consultancy for small businesses and startups since 2010. Educational background includes a BSc in Computer Science from the University of York.
