Bob Klein

Bob Klein is the current CEO at Digital Scientists. Prior to this, they were the Director of Quality at BackOffice Associates, Inc from December 2006 to August 2007. In this role, they led Data Governance practice and drove related software implementation projects for a $50 million software & consulting firm. Bob also acted as the ‘voice of the customer’ within the organization – driving alignment or change to sales process, implementation timelines, product fixes /features and product support capability.

Before BackOffice Associates, Inc., Bob Klein was with Siemens from October 2000 to November 2006 as a Process Executive for Product Lifecycle Management. In this role, they drove definition and implementation of standard Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process at a $3bn operating company. Bob led an internal consulting team across product management, engineering and manufacturing organizations in US and Mexico to ensure process alignment in support of a company-wide SAP implementation. Additionally, they led a program across sales, product management and manufacturing operations to drive a standard PLM process as it relates to material and product definition, nomenclature and configuration. Bob also developed a detailed PLM process and technology architecture roadmap to support engineering and product management organization as well as business unit alignment with new strategic direction.

After graduating from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Political Science with honors, Bob Klein attended The George Washington University, where they earned an M.A. in Russian/East European Studies.
