Chris Chubb

Chris Chubb is an experienced cartographer and GIS specialist with a robust background in the mapping industry. Co-owner of Digital Vector Maps since 2006, Chris has been responsible for creating and maintaining retail map files for a major online catalog and providing custom map orders swiftly. In addition, Chris operates Chris Chubb Cartography, delivering tailored map files with custom layers and various formats for web integration. Previous roles include GIS specialist positions at Cartifact, Inc. and KB Home, focusing on database updates and real estate mapping. Chris's career began at Rand McNally, where management of custom map projects was a key responsibility, complemented by earlier work at Thomas Bros. Maps as a GIS specialist creating GIS data for published maps. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from UC Santa Barbara.
