Christian Belady is a seasoned expert in managing global Datacenter and Infrastructure Development, recognized for developing one of the largest data center footprints in the world. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Cloud Infrastructure Strategy and Architecture at Microsoft, where they drive the strategy and delivery of server and facility development globally. With over 132 US patents, numerous accolades, and a founding role in ASHRAE's TC9.9, Christian has made significant contributions to energy efficiency metrics in the data center industry, including the creation of the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) metric.
