Jon Wilkinson

Jon Wilkinson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Jon began their career in 1993 as a Programmer Analyst at Rogers & Brown, where they maintained exporting systems and redesigned custom programs and databases. In 1995, Jon worked as an EDI Coordinator at Cochrane Furniture Company, where they developed ERP enhancements and initiated EDI services with multiple retail stores. From 1996 to 1998, they served as an IT Consultant at Data Processing Services.

In 1998, Jon joined Windstream as a Senior Programmer Analyst and Web Application Developer. Jon worked on projects such as CTC Wireless Phone Activations, where they developed a Java library for a socket interface and created a JSF order-entry application. Jon also developed a credit card processing service for Verisign PayFlow.

From 2007 to 2008, Jon worked as an Independent Consultant, primarily focused on Java development. In 2008, they joined ACN as a Java Developer, where they developed custom web applications and contributed to the establishment of new department standards. Jon also worked at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration as a Web Developer, specializing in Java development for the National Climatic Data Center's projects.

Since 2014, Jon has been working as a Software Engineer at both Sciolytix and DigitalChalk | LMS.

Jon Wilkinson has a diverse education history. In 1990, they attended Greenville Technical College for three years and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Programming. After a brief break, they enrolled at Catawba College from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems, graduating Cum Laude. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2005 to 2007, completing a Master of Science degree in Information Technology.
