Aron Pasieka has a diverse work experience. Aron is currently working at DigitalEd as the Lead Data Scientist since September 2021. In their previous role at DigitalEd, they served as the Director of Product Management from May 2018 to March 2021. Before joining DigitalEd, Aron worked at Maplesoft as a Product Manager for Mobiüs from July 2014 to May 2018. Aron also worked as a Content Developer at Maplesoft from September 2012 to June 2014, where they reviewed, edited, and authored online testing and assessment content. Additionally, Aron worked as an Integrated Pest Management Agent at Richmond Centennial Golf Club from June 2010 to December 2017. Aron also has experience as a self-employed Web Developer, primarily focusing on freelance web development and logo design from 2007 to August 2014. Aron has also worked at the University of Guelph as a Sessional Lecturer, teaching courses in Quantum Computing and Nanoscience in 2012. Aron has also held positions as a Content Developer and Course Developer at the University of Guelph, primarily involved in developing and delivering educational courses. Aron started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph, where they implemented an analytic spectral deconvolution algorithm in C++ for Compton scattering and positron annihilation data.
Aron Pasieka holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Guelph, which they obtained between 2007 and 2014. In addition, they have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from the same institution, earned from 2005 to 2007. Aron also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Theoretical Physics from the University of Guelph, completing it between 2001 and 2005. Recently, Aron obtained a Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2022. Aron also holds additional certifications as an Integrated Pest Management Agent from the IPM Council of Canada in 2010, and as a Landscape Exterminator from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change in 2002.
