Stephen M. Watt is a distinguished academic and board member with extensive experience in computer science and mathematics education. Currently serving as a Professor of Computer Science and Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, Stephen leads a department with over 8,350 students and 250 faculty members. Stephen's board memberships include positions at DigitalEd, Kognitiv Corporation, NAG, and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, as well as previous roles with Waste Diversion Ontario and the Descartes Systems Group. Stephen holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MMath in Applied Math from the University of Waterloo, along with a BSc in Mathematics & Physics from the University of New Brunswick, and an ICD.D in Corporate Governance from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
