Tim Dombrowski is the founder and managing director of BAIT Media and Digitaler Kompass, two pioneering organizations dedicated to enhancing media literacy among youth in Austria and Europe. Presently, BAIT Media focuses on fact-checking for young TikTok users and has received the SDG Award for its significant contributions to journalism. Digitaler Kompass, established in 2016, is a non-profit that promotes media competence through collaborations in education and research, particularly for economically and socially disadvantaged youth. Additionally, Tim served as the network coordinator in Austria for Lie Detectors from 2018 to 2023, furthering news literacy and resilience against misinformation. Tim earned a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication Studies from the University of Vienna and studied Communication and Journalism at İstanbul University.
