Grant Hovander has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Grant began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Glumac in 2014. In 2017, they worked as a Theater Technician and Stagehand at the University of California San Diego, a Live Sound Engineer at Sofar Sounds, and an Audio Visual Technician at The Westin San Diego. In 2018, they worked as a Broadcast Engineer Tech Intern at Educational Media Foundation K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks. Grant currently works as a Broadcast Engineer at DigitalGlue, where they support television Production Operations and Broadcast Master Control Operations, maintains, upgrades and repairs various broadcast, production, post-production, and IT based equipment, and provides support for Windows and Linux servers, Mac's, PC's, NAS, SAN, and LTO systems.
Grant Hovander received their Bachelor of Arts in Computational Arts Media for Music from UC San Diego in 2018. In May 2019, they obtained two certifications from the Society of Broadcast Engineers: Certified Radio Operator (CRO) and Certified Television Operator (CTO).
