Amit Man

Amit Man is the co-founder and CTO of DigitalOwl, a video technology company. Amit has over 15 years of experience in the field of computer vision and video processing.

Amit Man founded DigitalOwl in 2014 with the vision of creating a technology that could summarize hours of video footage into a “brief” that would take only minutes to watch. Amit and their team have developed a proprietary Video Synopsis (VS) technology that does just that – and it has been successfully implemented by police, military, border control, and other security agencies around the world.

Prior to DigitalOwl, Amit Man was the algorithms & core technology group leader and an algorithms developer at BriefCam Ltd., where they oversaw the development of state-of-the-art image processing algorithms, object detection, extraction, and rendering. Amit also managed a team of 3 algorithm developers and was responsible for establishing and implementing a large portion of the company’s IP.

Amit Man holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Amit Man attended the Hebrew University from 2004-2008, where they obtained their MSCS in Computers. Amit then attended United World Colleges, Atlantic College from 1996-1998, where they completed their high school education.
