Emily Scala

Emily Scala is a Digital Marketing Specialist with a focus on paid search at 829 Studios since July 2022. Prior to this role, Emily spent two years as a PreK-Grade 1 Special Education Teacher at Boston Public Schools, where responsibilities included developing instructional strategies, facilitating team meetings, and collaborating with service providers to support student growth. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lower Elementary Teacher at Uncommon Schools, where data analysis and online learning integration were key, along with significant adaptability during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily's leadership experience also encompasses roles as a Trip Leader with Appalachia Volunteers/Habitat for Humanity and Head Counselor at Brimmer and May. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Boston College, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Notre Dame.
