Howard Grubb

Product Lead Electronic Trading at DIGITEC

Howard Grubb has a diverse work experience in the financial and technology industry. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Research Associate at Imperial College London before becoming a Lecturer in Applied Statistics at the University of Reading in 1994. Howard then transitioned to the industry and worked as an Associate Director of Quantitative Analytics at Barclays Investment Bank from 2005 to 2007. Howard then joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President of e-FX Trading from 2007 to 2009. Howard later moved to Automat Limited, where they served as the Head of Client Market Making from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, Howard became the Head of Research for FX Electronic Trading at BNP Paribas. Howard then joined Lloyds Banking Group as the Head of e-FX Algorithmic Trading from 2011 to 2015. In the same year, they also became the CTO at Modular Financial Technologies. Following their time at Modular Financial Technologies, Howard took on the role of Director at Modular FX Services in 2015. Most recently, they are working as the Product Lead of Electronic Trading at DIGITEC Financial Technologies and Services since 2022.

Howard Grubb obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Nottingham between 1984 and 1987. Afterward, they pursued further education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Multivariate Time Series Modelling at the University of Bath from 1987 to 1990.
