Ralph Willgoss has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of technology and software development. Ralph started their career in 2002 as a Development Manager and Senior Software Engineer at T-bone Productions, where they worked until 2007. Ralph then moved on to ING DIRECT Australia, where they served as a Senior .Net Developer on contract basis for three years.

In 2011, Ralph took up the role of a Technical Consultant for CommSec, followed by another Technical Consultant and Architect role at T-bone Productions, where they were involved in migrating apps from .Net 1.1 to .Net 4.0. Later in the same year, they led the Development team at T-bone Productions and worked as an Architect for Toyota Industrial Australia's Head Office, designing the key reporting system.

Ralph joined Digital Super Glue in 2012 as a Technical Consultant for O2, where they designed and migrated their ticketing site and services to Rackspace Cloud. Ralph also worked as a Senior .Net Developer at Gazprom Marketing & Trading during this time and was involved in the development of energy operations and trading systems.

In 2014, Ralph moved to Microsoft as a Senior .Net Cloud Services Engineer, where they designed a high availability and high-performance Cloud-based platform using Azure. Ralph also developed a CQRS system for Lionhead Studios on the AAA Win10/XBox One title, Fable Legends.

From 2016 to 2019, Ralph worked at ASOS.com as a Solutions Architect and Lead Software Engineer. Ralph provided expertise in cloud architecture, development practices, security, processes, and test automation. Ralph developed a CQRS based system using Event Sourcing and Azure, created a highly available API and distributed messaging architecture for E-commerce, and built a geo-redundant system using Azure and on-premise infrastructure.

Since 2019, Ralph has been working as a Principal Consultant - Cloud Architecture at Digiterre, specializing in Energy Trading across Europe. Ralph develops cloud-based architectures to enhance trading and modeling activities and is involved in enterprise architecture, client engagement, and requirement gathering.

Throughout their career, Ralph has demonstrated proficiency in various technologies, including .Net framework, Azure Cloud Services, SQL Server, WPF, WCF, MVC, and more. Ralph has a strong focus on developing scalable and secure cloud-native platforms and implementing innovative solutions for enhancing business processes and operations.

Ralph Willgoss has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Business Information Systems and Finance from the University of Wollongong, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. In 2000, they also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, with a specialization in Computer Programming and Financial Analysis. In the same year, they completed a Java Developer course at Sun Microsystems.

In 2004, Ralph attended a Vignette Developer course at Vignette (now OpenText). Later, in 2010, they obtained the Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer certification from Cloudera.

Ralph continued to enhance their skills and knowledge by obtaining additional certifications. In 2010, they became a Cloudera Hadoop Certified Developer. More recently, in 2023, Ralph obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
