Joe Freeman

Joe Freeman is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as a Board Member and Marketing and Communications Chair at EO San Diego since July 2024, Joe is responsible for enhancing member engagement and growth. As Chief Executive Officer at Digitopia Agency since February 2019, Joe leads a B Corp-minded team focused on optimizing systems and processes for B2B marketing and sales. Additional roles include Vice President of Client Services, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at AMA San Diego from July 2021 to June 2022, where Joe managed various member engagement strategies. Previous experience includes co-founding Elevator Agency and serving as Owner at Caban Media Group, along with roles in sales and guest relations at Vector Marketing and The Walt Disney Company. Joe holds an Associate of Science degree in Political Science and Government from MiraCosta College.
