Max Bouts

Max Bouts is an experienced professional in risk management and information security, currently serving as Lead Auditor for ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 at DigiTrust since July 2018. Additionally, Max has held the position of Lead Internal Auditor at Kamer van Koophandel since January 2014, focusing on risk-based internal audits within the COSO ERM framework and ensuring ISO 27001 certification. Prior experience includes working as a Security Officer at Kamer van Koophandel Nederland from March 2008 to January 2014, where responsibilities included information security policy implementation and conducting security audits. Max briefly served as an Interim Auditor ISO 27001 at Eurofiber Nederland in 2018. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Risk Management from Haagse Hogeschool/TH Rijswijk, certification as an Implementer of ISO 27001 from Security Academy, and a degree in Psychology from Radboud University Nijmegen. In addition, Max is an Assessor for EFQM since 2014.
