In 2024, the platform advanced to a next-generation configuration capable of 3D ablation across a broad range of endoluminal lesions, with Barrett’s Esophagus selected as the initial proof-of-value indication.
The result is EGAD (Endoscopic Gastrointestinal Ablation Device) - a precision laser balloon catheter engineered for uniform, non-contact ablation with integrated imaging guidance. Secured by 13 global patents, reinforced by comprehensive safety and performance testing, and supported by established manufacturing partners, EGAD is positioned to supersede legacy approved solutions with a treatment more effective, safer and faster.
Digma is now advancing a platform capable of redefining standards of care in GI and broader endoluminal intervention, delivering measurable clinical benefit and market-shaping potential.
