Stephen Eckman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture, engineering management, and technical leadership across various defense and simulation projects. Currently serving as Principal Software Architect at Dignitas Technologies since October 2022, Stephen plays a pivotal role in guiding technological advancements and overseeing critical projects for military clients. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at The DiSTI Corporation and multiple senior positions at Dignitas Technologies, where Stephen led initiatives for significant government agencies such as the USMC, NGA, and USSOCOM. With a foundational background as Chief Scientist at GameSim and Chief Engineer at SAIC, Stephen has consistently driven innovation through research and practical applications, complemented by early career achievements at EA and other technical firms. Holding a BS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Stephen combines technical expertise with strategic oversight to adapt and evolve modern technologies.
