Roy Behren

Roy Behren serves as Co-President and Chief Investment Officer at Westchester Capital Management, with a tenure dating back to 2006. In addition to these roles, Roy holds positions as Portfolio Manager and Board Chairman at WCM Alternatives: Event Driven Fund since January 2014, and as Portfolio Manager and Principal at Westchester Capital Partners LLC since 2004. Advisory positions include membership on the Board of Advisors for Sharp Alpha Advisors and Dignity Gold. Previously, Roy was a Portfolio Manager for The Dunham Monthly Distribution Fund (2009 - May 2017), served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for Redback Networks (2004 - 2007), and worked as a Financial Analyst at Westchester Capital Management Inc. (1994 - 2005) and as an Attorney with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (1987 - 1994). Roy's academic credentials include a JD from the University of Miami School of Law and an LLM in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law, complemented by a BS in Economics from The Wharton School.
