Dirk Binding

Dirk Binding has extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as Bereichsleiter Digitale Wirtschaft, Infrastruktur und Regionalpolitik at DIHK since January 2016. Binding also holds positions as Vorsitzender des Beirates at Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus e.V. since December 2017 and as a member of the advisory board at BREKO Bundesverband Breitbandkommunikation e.V. since July 2018. Previous roles include Bundesgeschäftsführer at Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland from October 2008 to September 2015 and Referatsleiter at Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Köln from March 2004 to October 2008. Binding's educational background includes a Diplom Volkswirt from the University of Cologne, a Diplom Kaufmann from FernUniversität in Hagen, and training as a WAK Fachreferent für Werbung from Westdeutsche Akademie für Kommunikation.
