Ryan Torio

Ryan Torio has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

Ryan started their career at CaseIT MIS Case Competition, where they served as a Sponsorship Executive from April 2009 to February 2010, and later as Vice-Chair from March 2010 to February 2011.

In 2007, they joined the City of Surrey as an Assistant Head Guard, Lifeguard, and Instructor, and worked there until October 2017.

In 2015, Ryan joined EY as a Senior Consultant in Advisory Services and remained in this role until September 2018.

Ryan then moved to Galvanize, where they began as a Senior Consultant in Product Strategy from September 2018 to October 2020. Ryan was later promoted to Manager of Influencer Relations, a role they held from November 2020 to October 2021.

Currently, Ryan works at Diligent, a company that acquired Galvanize in April 2021. Ryan initially joined Diligent as the Manager of Influencer Relations from October 2021 to June 2022. Ryan then transitioned to the role of Team Lead, Solutions Engineer from June 2022 to April 2023. Ryan is currently employed as the Team Lead, Solutions Architect at Diligent since May 2023.

Ryan Torio completed their education at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, where they earned a degree in Business Administration. Their studies focused on Management Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Business Technology Management. In addition to their formal education, Ryan obtained a certification as a Diligent Change Agent from Diligent in 2023.
