John Vanstone

John Vanstone is an experienced internal audit and compliance professional with a robust career spanning over 15 years. Currently, John serves as an Independent Member of the Joint Audit Committee for Avon and Somerset Police since June 2024 and holds the position of Head of Internal Audit at Diligenta, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services, since November 2020. Previous roles include Head of Consumer Compliance at ALD Automotive UK, Head of Risk Oversight at Nationwide Building Society, and various leadership positions within Friends Life Group, including Audit Director and Head of Internal Audit. John also has significant experience at AXA, where roles included Head of Internal Audit and Head of Regulatory Monitoring from 2005 to 2010.
