The 1200 MW 2x600 MW maiden coal based power project in Chhattisgarh is already operational and was synchronized with coal within a period of 44 months from the zero date. The 1st Unit of DB Power CG Project had won the prestigious Bronze Shield under the category of “Early completion of thermal Power Project” by Ministry of Power, Govt of India for the projects that completed in the year 2013-14.The Unit 1 is under commercial operations w.e.f Aug 15 by commencing Power supply to Tamilnadu under long term. It also had started supplying power to Chhattisgarh (host state)

The second 1320 MW (2x660 MW) coal based power plant in the state of Madhya Pradesh is under construction and has all the necessary clearances in place.
