Yes, Dilmah made a name as world’s number one tea brand for garden fresh, single estate, unblended teas of the highest quality, taste and fragrance.
But there is so much more to our story.

Dilmah is a true Sri Lankan family business, founded by the visionary tea master Merrill J. Fernando. And it embraces a philosophy that is unique in the tea industry: ‘Business as a human service’, as our legendary founder always calls it. This has been and always will be our timeless vision. We treat planet and people with the greatest respect. We take care of our customers, our coworkers and the environment, with the same care and attention that we extend to our teas. One cup at a time Dilmah proves that ‘good for business’ and ‘business for good’ can and should go hand in hand. This is why a cup of pure Dilmah tea is so often called ‘a cup of kindness’.
