Moumita Biswas has over two decades of experience in public health, spanning project design and implementation, project management, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation. She holds Masters in Anthropology from University of Delhi, and is currently also pursuing Masters in Public Health. She has successfully undertaken implementation and research projects in areas covering public health, WASH, Education, and Nutrition with reputed organisations such as AIIMS (New Delhi), DFID, Mott MacDonald India and The Union. In her last assignment with The Union, she provided technical support to National Tuberculosis Elimination Program in the state of Madhya Pradesh in planning, implementation, monitoring & supervision of TB case finding, strengthening partnerships, and advocacy efforts. Prior to The Union, Moumita has been a Project Manager at Mott MacDonald India, wherein she was responsible for designing and leading projects across the social sector, handling projects to the tune of 2.56 million GBP. Her research papers have been accepted in a number of national and international Conferences. She has authored a few research papers as well, along with her colleagues.
