Fred Okello

Fred Okello is an experienced Senior Solutions Architect currently with Dimension Data, East Africa since May 2015. Fred has held multiple roles within the company, including Senior Technical Architect for Intelligent Workplace and Customer Experience, as well as Senior System Engineer. Responsibilities have included reviewing and optimizing client collaboration networks, providing technical sales support, diagnosing complex collaboration issues, and engaging in pre-sales activities. Prior experience includes positions as Project Engineer with Nokia Networks, focusing on the Airtel modernization project, and internships at Safaricom and Huawei, where foundational skills in network monitoring and mobile technologies were developed. Fred holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a Telecommunications option from the Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Information Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
