Leslie Pels is a Principal Consultant at NTT DATA Middle East and Africa (Dimension Data) since May 2019, specializing in BI consulting for Absa Group, where VAT Analytics dashboards were developed using SAP Analytics Cloud. Previously, as General Manager - Modeling and Analytics at Britehouse from October 2017 to May 2019, Leslie created analytical models and visualizations for IoT data and supply-chain analytics. An extensive background includes serving as an Analytics & Visualisation Consultant at Data Pattern Technologies, where dashboards were developed for various clients such as Transnet and Kraft Foods, and experience as a Statistical Consultant at Medscheme, where predictive modeling for healthcare was conducted, and at Fedsure Health, where risk assessment models influenced corporate strategy. Leslie holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Mathematics, both from Wits University.
