Claire Samways

Claire Samways has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Claire started their career in 2000 as a Payments Team Leader for an NHS Trust, where they managed a purchase ledger team of 10 and handled invoice payments. In 2004, they transitioned to the role of Financial Accountant at Alcan Packaging, where they were responsible for financial reporting. Claire then moved on to work as a Management Accountant at Mulberry Company (design) Ltd. in 2007. Later that year, they joined Dawsonrentals Display Refrigeration as an Accountant, and in 2011, they became an Accountant at Center Parcs. During their time at Center Parcs, Claire held various responsibilities such as budgeting, financial reporting, capital control, and training non-financial staff. Claire'smost recent position is Director of Commercial Finance at Dimensions UK, which they have held since 2014.

Claire Samways has a diverse education history spanning over several years. Claire began their educational journey in 1991 and completed their GCSE's at Oldfield Girls School in 1996. Following this, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance at Radstock College. Most recently, from 2021 to 2023, Claire has been attending CIMA for further education in Accounting and Finance.
