Rakesh Jain

Rakesh Jain has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rakesh currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System Ltd. (DIMTS) since April 2023. Prior to this, they held various senior positions within the company, including Senior Vice President of Business Development, IT & Transport Technology Solutions from April 2022 to March 2023, Vice President of Business Development & Transport Technology Solutions from April 2019 to April 2022, and Vice President of Strategy and Business Development from April 2014 to March 2015. Rakesh also held roles such as Associate Vice President of Corporate Strategy from April 2011 to March 2014 and General Manager of Corporate Strategy from February 2009 to March 2011.

Before joining DIMTS, Rakesh worked at IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd as an Assistant Vice President from April 2008 to January 2009. Rakesh also has experience at IL&FS Limited as a Senior Manager from June 2005 to March 2008. Earlier in their career, Rakesh worked at Larsen & Toubro as a Manager of Project Development from April 2004 to June 2005 and as a Senior Engineer from July 1994 to June 2002.

Rakesh Jain completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal in the years 1990 to 1994. Rakesh later obtained a PGDBM in Finance and Information Management from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, in 2012, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for a short-term program called MDP, where they specialized in Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing.
