Founded by Ryan and Kara Biggin in 2009, Dine-A-Chook is a family-owned business rooted in the values of quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Our Story

It all started with a few backyard chooks and a lot of enthusiasm. Like many new chicken keepers, we soon faced the challenges of wasted feed, messy coops, and frequent visits from pests. Frustrated but determined, we sought a solution that would make chicken keeping easier and more enjoyable.With the invaluable help of Ryan's father, a retired mechanical engineer, we created the Dine-A-Chook feeder—a virtually indestructible, cost-effective solution that ensures 99% of the feed goes directly to the chickens. This breakthrough not only solved our problems but also revolutionised the backyard chicken feeder industry.
