Stephen Jefferson

Stephen Jefferson is a highly experienced software engineer specializing in platform engineering and system architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Platform Engineer at Dines since July 2019, Stephen has successfully transformed a monolithic Django system into an advanced event-driven distributed architecture utilizing AWS services. Previously, at hedgehog lab from May 2015 to July 2019, Stephen progressed through various roles from Developer to Senior Developer, ultimately becoming a System Architect, where responsibilities included architectural planning and technical advisory. Stephen began a career in mobile development as a Junior Software Engineer at Sage and gained additional experience as a Junior Android Developer at Audacious. Stephen holds a First Class Degree in BSc Computer Science from the University of Teesside.
