Angela Jansen

Vice President of Analytics and Population Health at DinnerTime

Angela Jansen has a diverse work experience. Angela began their career in 2004 as a Post-doctoral Fellow at The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, followed by a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Professor Gordon Dougan in 2005. In 2007, they supervised first year students at Sidney Sussex College, University through their basic biology of cells course. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at The Biodesign Institute, Arizona State University and The Biodesign Institute, where they were a Project/Research Manager and a Laboratory of Professor Roy Curtiss III, respectively. During this time, they managed a $15 million Gates Grant. In 2012, they became a Fellow and Early Vote Organizer for Organizing for America and graduated from EMERGE in the same year. From 2013 to 2019, they were the Vice President of Analytics and Population Health at DinnerTime, Inc. and the Principal Writer at Dr Jansen Science Writer. In their current role, they research and crafts communications across several therapeutic areas.

Angela Jansen completed their Doctorate in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine between 1998 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science in Microbiological Sciences and Immunology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health between 1993 and 1998. Jansen's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a focus in Health Sciences and Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, which they completed between 1988 and 1991.
