Daniel Chen has a decade of experience in marketing and communications roles. Daniel started their career as a System Designer and Software Engineer at Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc. In 2006, they joined Pericom Semiconductor (now a part of Diodes Incorporated) as a Marketing Communications Specialist and Technical Writer. During this time, they translated technical documentation, wrote product specifications and application notes, and managed procurement. From 2014 to 2016, Daniel worked as the Assistant Marketing Communications Manager in Asia for Pericom Semiconductor. Daniel managed marketing programs, performed data analysis, developed public relations programs, and organized seminars and trade shows. Since 2016, Daniel has been working at Diodes Incorporated as the Corporate Marketing Manager. In this role, they drive digital marketing campaigns, generates leads through online channels, and develops website and sales tools. Daniel led digital marketing initiatives, executed content marketing strategies, and utilized platforms such as SEO, Google AdWords, and social media.
Daniel Chen completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Daniel has obtained several certifications, including a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in September 2018, a Data Science and Big Data Analytics Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June 2018, a Google Analytics Individual Qualification in April 2018, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2017, and a TOEIC Gold certification from the TOEIC® Program in September 2011.
