Joe Penney

Joe Penney is a Principal at DiPrete Engineering, bringing over 30 years of expertise in engineering, land use permitting, and development. Since August 2015, Joe has led the team at DiPrete Engineering, following a notable 15-year tenure as the Director of Development at Ahold USA, where responsibilities included securing land use approvals for Stop & Shop developments across New England. Prior to that, Joe managed site design and permitting for supermarket locations and fueling facilities at Stop and Shop Supermarket Co. Additionally, Joe served as Principal in Charge of Civil, Environmental, and Transportation at Gale Associates, Inc. Joe's academic credentials include studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
