Allan Westphal has extensive experience in the field of technology and engineering, with a specialization in audio and software development. Allan is currently serving as the Director of Automotive Audio Product Development, R&D at Dirac since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Audio Engineering Platform at Dirac from March 2020 to October 2022, and as the Manager of Algorithm Dirac-DSP Platform from May 2019 to March 2020.

Before joining Dirac, Allan Westphal held various managerial positions at renowned companies. Allan worked as the R&D Senior Manager of Software Development at Radiometer from August 2017 to April 2019. From May 2015 to July 2017, they served as the Director of Embedded Engineering, Service Providers at Greenwave Systems Inc. Allan Westphal began their career as a DSP SW/HW Developer at Signal-Data, where they gained experience from September 1994 to August 2000.

Allan Westphal obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Allan pursued their education at DTU from 1988 to 1994.
