Lars-Johan Brännmark has a diverse work experience spanning from 1995 to the present. Lars-Johan started as a Sound Engineer at Sveriges Radio in 1995 and worked there until 1998. After that, they joined Sveriges Radio Förvaltnings AB in 1999, where they served as a Sound Engineer until 2002. In 2002, Lars-Johan joined Dirac Research AB as the Chief Scientist and is still currently working there. Additionally, they also worked as a PhD Student at Uppsala University from an unknown start date until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they held the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher at Uppsala University. Overall, Lars-Johan Brännmark has a strong background in sound engineering and research.

Lars-Johan Brännmark's education history begins in 1994, when they attended Luleå University of Technology and obtained a degree in Audio Engineering, which they completed in 1996. Following this, Lars-Johan enrolled at Uppsala University and pursued multiple disciplines from 1996 to 2003. During this period, they attained a Master of Science (MSc) degree, focusing on Musicology, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering.

In 2000, Lars-Johan participated in a one-year exchange program at Purdue University, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. Returning to Uppsala University, they pursued a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Signal Processing from 2004 to 2011.

Additionally, Lars-Johan Brännmark has acquired various certifications. In September 2017, they completed a course in Machine Learning on Coursera. Lars-Johan obtained the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in December 2020, and in February 2021, they achieved the DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization, also from Coursera.
