Andre Saraiva

Andre Saraiva is a Solid State Physicist at UNSW and the Head of Solid State Theory at Diraq, where they focus on creating spin qubits using CMOS technology. With 15 years of expertise in silicon-based quantum computing, they have worked globally with qubit makers and have previously held academic positions, including a professorship at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Andre earned a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Physics from the same institution. Outside of work, they engage in various hobbies, including DIY projects, Jiu Jitsu, and barbecuing.
