Cameron Jones

Cameron Jones is a Research Associate at Diraq, where responsibilities include operating quantum processor chips and engaging in electronics hardware, software design, cryogenic setups, and quantum physics. Cameron also serves as a Resident Fellow at UNSW's Goldstein College, providing support for residents, and as a Head Lab Demonstrator and Lab Demonstrator for various electrical engineering and physics courses. Previous experience includes roles as a Client Service Assistant and a Taste of Research Scholar, focusing on image processing and data analysis in astrophysics. Cameron completed internships at Provecta Process Automation and Essential Energy, specializing in control systems and electrical engineering, respectively. Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UNSW, Cameron holds both a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UNSW.
