Stephen Bartlett

Stephen Bartlett is a theoretical quantum physicist and Professor in the School of Physics at the University of Sydney, where they lead a team focused on fundamental and applied research in quantum computing. They serve as the Director of the University of Sydney Nano Institute and are involved as a Chief Investigator at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Engineered Quantum Systems. Stephen is also the inaugural Lead Editor of the international research journal PRX Quantum and holds advisory roles at various organizations, including Diraq and Iceberg Quantum. With a PhD in Physics from the University of Toronto, they have contributed significantly to the quantum technology ecosystem both locally and globally.
