Will Gilbert

Will Gilbert is a CMOS Design and Measurement Engineer at Diraq since September 2022 and has been a self-employed professional musician, composer, and teacher since March 2010. Prior experience includes a PhD candidacy and research assistantship at UNSW from July 2018 to September 2022, an IC Design Engineer position at Perceptia Devices, Inc. from December 2017 to February 2019, and a senior technician role at SumNet Pty. Ltd. from September 2009 to March 2018, focusing on the repair and maintenance of HFC network equipment. Will also contributed as a course material developer and lab demonstrator at UNSW. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Quantum Computing from UNSW (2019-2022), a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UNSW (2015-2018), a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from the University of Sydney (2010-2013), and initial studies in Mining and Mineral Engineering at UNSW (2008-2009).
