Jamie Fox

Jamie Fox has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. They started their career as an MIS Operations Engineer at Cabletron Systems in 1991 and later became an Applications Engineer providing product support for an enterprise network management system. In 1996, Jamie joined Objective Systems Integrators as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they provided professional services and support to telecommunications providers in the Asia/Pacific region.

In 1997, Jamie joined Sage IT Partners / Xpedior as a Sr. Systems Engineer and managed IT operations for a software consulting firm. They supervised the hiring and management of junior IT employees.

In 2000, Jamie worked as a consultant at Innoventry for a brief period. They then became a Sr. Systems Administrator at Achex / First Data Corp in 2001, where they provided systems engineering for a managed online payment system.

From 2001 to 2003, Jamie served as a Sr. Systems Administrator at Finaplex, where they provided design, maintenance, and support for a financial services portal and related infrastructure.

Jamie then joined Wells Fargo Bank in 2003 as a Web Engineer, contributing to the design, implementation, and support of systems and network infrastructure for an Internet banking portal.

In 2007, Jamie became the Director of Network Operations at Engage.com, where they managed all networking, servers, applications, and supporting infrastructure for a social networking site.

Jamie worked as a Cofounder/Consultant at Advanced Provisioning LLC/Self-employed consultant from 2008 to 2016. During this time, they provided DevOps consulting services to numerous startups.

Finally, Jamie joined Direct Commerce in 2016, where they served as a Senior Director of Information Services. Their responsibilities included managing production operations and corporate IT for a B2B SaaS platform, leading SOC2 and HIPAA compliance efforts, and hiring and managing DevOps engineers.

Throughout their career, Jamie has gained extensive experience in infrastructure deployment, automation, and provisioning, as well as managing IT services and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Jamie Fox completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of New Hampshire from 1989 to 1993. Later, Jamie pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2005 to 2007.
