Kate also completed the redesign, development, and deployment of VRAM ahead of schedule.

Prior to that, Kate worked as a Software Engineer at White Oak Technologies, Inc. from April 2004 to May 2007. Kate developed the WareX™ system, which enables analysts to run fuzzy batch match requests over large data sets. Kate utilized Python, SQL, JavaScript, and the MontyPy framework on a UNIX platform.

Kate began their career as a Software Engineer at L3 Technologies from September 2001 to April 2004. Kate worked on the STORM program, where they performed requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and integration. The program aimed to provide in-depth analysis of air and space power contributions in joint military operations. Kate utilized C++ on a UNIX platform for this role.

Kate Coffie completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from George Mason University in the years 1995 to 2000. Kate then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the same university from 2002 to 2005.
