Michael Raphael

Founder, President & Chief Engineer at Direct Dimensions

Michael Raphael has a long and successful career in the engineering industry. Michael started their career in 1985 as an Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin, where they worked as a Liaison Engineer for five years. In 1995, they founded Direct Dimensions, Inc., where they served as the Founder, President, and Chief Engineer. Direct Dimensions provides high-quality 3D scanning and 3D digital modeling services for a variety of industries and applications. In 2010, they founded ShapeShot, a platform for taking and processing 3D face portrait images.

Michael Raphael attended Milford Mill High School from 1978 to 1981. Michael then went on to earn a BS ESM in Engineering Science from Virginia Tech from 1981 to 1985. In 1987, they completed a MEA in Masters of Engineering Administration from The George Washington University, which they attended from 1987 to 1990.
